My name is Joy.

I live in Maine.

I've never met an exclamation mark I didn't like.

Sometimes I host impromptu dance-offs in the middle of the street.

So I had an Idea…

As previously stated, I love myself some holiday music. I don’t know why, exactly. Perhaps it reminds me of home. Or of being with the people I love. Whatever it is, very little can lift my mood like a December tune.

So I’ve decided to spread the cheer. Specifically through tumblr. I’ll post one holiday song each day that I’m allowed to listen to holiday music. And I’ll try to add personal anecdotes to each and every one. Think of me as a mix between Santa and Rob Gordon.

Now, I know what you’re thinking, “Joy, how are you going to post that many Holiday songs without it getting repetitive?”

Bitches, please. You are dealing with a holiday professional.

I have over 521 Holiday songs in my itunes collection alone. Even more on old CDs (and records) back in Maine. And don’t worry, Jews. I’ve got you covered, too.

So you’re getting this little burst of holiday cheer, whether you like it or not.

And it starts tomorrow.
